We are in Radda in Chianti, arguably one of the most idyllic and beautiful places in the entire world. This wine is all dark, leathery fruit that is getting even cooler with the added aging on the bottle. The wine is mostly sangiovese but has a tiny sprinkling of colorino which is allowed in classified Chiantis. This wine is a Somm wine, all of my friends are obsessed with it and so am I. You definitely want to decant this wine before you drink it.
Serving temp: Cellar temperature is a must! Ideally around 65 degrees. Store in a dark and cool spot.
Pairing: Fresh Tagliatelle with slowly cooked ragu
