Accessibility
Our commitment
Helen's Wines is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (opens in a new tab).
Where we are today
We are in the middle of moving our website to a new platform. As part of that move we commissioned an accessibility audit of our online store in August 2026 and we are actively remediating the issues it identified. We do not yet claim full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and we would rather tell you that honestly than overstate where we are.
Work completed or underway includes navigation and menu controls that are properly labelled for screen readers, accessible names on image links and form controls, colour contrast corrections, and a manual keyboard and screen reader review. We will update this page as that work progresses.
Known limitations
Some parts of our site rely on third-party services that we do not control, including our newsletter signup, our wine club platform and our checkout. We are working with those providers where issues arise. If something on our site is not working for you, please tell us and we will help you directly while we fix it.
Tell us about a problem
If you have difficulty using any part of this website, or if you would like information, a product or a service in a different format, please contact us. Include the page address if you can, and describe what happened. We aim to respond within two business days.

We are also happy to take an order, answer questions about a wine, or arrange delivery over the phone if that is easier for you.
How we test
We use a combination of automated testing and manual review, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader testing. Automated tools alone catch only a portion of accessibility issues, which is why feedback from the people using our site matters to us.
